About the Journal

The Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo is a publication that covers various topics from different areas of knowledge, which have a direct impact on the development of our communities and nations. It assumes four categories of scientific work:

  • Scientific research paper
  • Review article
  • Article of reflection or essay
  • Case study

As long as they are considered as original submissions and respond to one of the following thematic axes:

  • Teaching and research
  • Information and communications technologies
  • Business management
  • Project management, local development and social responsibility
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Culture, heritage and tourism
  • Health and nutrition
  • Quality and safety
  • Architecture and urban planning

The Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo is primarily aimed at professionals, teachers, researchers and students who have an interest in publishing the most relevant results of their research through it. Its policy is based on the system of continuous publications, with a single annual volume (without issues). Likewise, it adheres to the Open Access initiative, in order to promote the immediate socialization of the results that are exposed as part of its content.

Peer evaluation process<
The articles published in Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo are subject to double-blind peer review by the Scientific Committee of UNICEPES.
 
 Double-blind review guarantee
The authors will deliver their articles with their personal data (first and last name, e-mail address and institution). Which will then be devoid of this information for submission to the two subject-matter experts.
 
Open access policy
This magazine provides immediate open access to its content, in accordance with the principles governing the socialization of knowledge.
 
Editorial process
The Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo, makes use of the Open Journal System (OJS) for the management of the editorial process, which automates this procedure.
 
Filing
This magazine uses the LOCKSS system to create a file system distributed among collaborating libraries, which allows for the creation of permanent archives of the magazine for conservation and restoration purposes.
 
Ethical statement and good practices
The Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo is governed by its editorial and promotional work by the Code of Conduct and Good Practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for publishers of scientific journals; for such reasons, articles containing, in whole or in part, content of other contributions in an undeclared manner, will be removed from the evaluation process. Authors are responsible for their work and therefore must ensure that they are original and do not infringe copyright.
 
Anti-plagiarism policy
The editorial board of the Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo makes use of the software Plagirims, to detect matches and similarities between the texts under evaluation and those previously published in other sources.
 
Financing
The Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo is a publication of the  Universidad Centro Panamericano de Estudios Superiores (UNICEPES) and the Red de Expertos Iberoamericanos en Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo (REIDID) at no cost to the authors who decide to publish.
