Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
  • The manuscript is written in Calibri font, point 11, with simple and justified leading.
  • The format complies with each and every standard that is reflected in the supplied template.
  • Where possible, URLs are provided for bibliographic references.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Instruction to authors.
  • Attached, in a compressed file, is a folder that includes all figures in JPG or PNG format, easily identifiable (figure number in the file name) and with acceptable quality.
  • The maximum manuscript size, with all its components, must not exceed 10 Mb.
  • Sending the Originality Letter that you can download from the Standards section.

Author Guidelines

The Editorial Committee shall accept manuscripts whose subjects relate to scientific research work, revisions, reflections or essays and case studies. The item type must be marked on the second line as it appears in the Manuscript Submission Template. Manuscripts must not be signed by more than three authors. The rest of the participants will appear in the Acknowledgements section.

The structure of the manuscripts sent to Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo can be found in Instructions to authors for the submission of articles.

Manuscripts must be submitted in the format available in Manuscript Submission Template. The Editorial Committee recalls that, if it does not comply with each and every one of the rules stipulated in Instructions to Authors for the Submission of Articles, your manuscript may be rejected in the first instance.

They are responsible for the ideas and data contained in the manuscripts, the fidelity of the information, the correction of quotations, the rights to publish any material that is included in the text and for the presentation of the manuscript in the format required by the RIDID (word template). Manuscripts submitted to the Revista Iberoamericana de Docencia, Investigación y Desarrollo must not have been published beforehand, nor shall they have been submitted in the same way to any other means of publication.
